Commission Information
I am open for commissions and would love to paint for you (bonus points for Star Wars!). I don't have a firm pricing guide as it is dependent on a variety of factors, size and medium in particular. Here are some examples of what commissions have cost in the past in order to provide a way for you to get a sense of my current fees:
9"x12" Watercolors/Mixed Media - $200
6"x9" Watercolor Portraits - $85
I can work in watercolors, acrylics on canvas board (not wrapped canvas), or digital.
Those who commission pieces in traditional media will receive the original in the mail (Shipping fee not included).
Feel free to send me a note if you are interested in a commission or would like to discuss possibilities.

These pieces are available for purchase.
ACEOs (2.5" x 3.5") - $40 Each
9" x 12" - $200

Going to SW Celebration? Come on by and say hi!
Hey, if you're going to be at Star Wars Celebration this weekend, come on over to Lee Kohse's art booth, number 1514 (there will be a big noticeable Jedi Leia painting on display (for as long as someone doesn't buy it)), and you may find me behind the table! (If you see a 20-something petite gal with short hair, thas me). I would love to say I'd have goodies for everyone who comes by to see me, but all I will have is my business cards. THEN AGAIN I could definitely hook you up with a Pokemon Cell Phone Strap but I would only bring a few seeing as how it's not star wars :P ALRIGHT FIRST SIX PEOPLE PER DAY WHO COME AND FIND ME GET A FREE POKEMO
Year in Review
2014 has been a big year of changes and now it's closing. I made some important shifts in my life and environment! Now that I'm in a more serious mindset as far as my career, I've got a lot of work to do. I've got a few plans for 2015 about how I'm going to kick it up a notch stylistically, as well in continuing to improve my technical skills. My main goals for 2015 are to see a vast improvement in my anatomy and gesture, and to start figuring out how to construct and execute backgrounds. I'll continue to work with watercolors and photoshop, but also hopefully I'll get more acquainted with acrylics. I only did manage to make two and a half ac
New Facebook Page
Hey hey! How is everyone doing? Hope you're all well. I'm doing great! I managed to snag a job at The Disney Store in Fashion Valley for the holidays. If you live in the area, come on by and say hi (and buy some star wars swag!)
Importantly, I made a new facebook fanpage for my art! It's going to be most of the same stuff I post here, but even so, please give it a like! You can find it right here --> https://www.facebook.com/artisticsparrow It would mean a lot to me to have your support.
I've also got an actual portfolio page now too at http://www.calsparrow.com
Finally, my apprenticeship is going well, and I'm hoping sometime in the ne
News
Well I have some great news! I am effectively a good ol fashioned apprentice now to a professional freelance artist who works for some big name companies including Lucasfilm. His job is really great... I'd love to do what he does. So I am super psyched about this. He's going to teach me all about the trade and working professionally... and also give me some art lessons in some of the stuff I'm not that great at such as lighting and whatever else comes up... and will teach me how to use certain media. Like today I got to use oil paints for the first time because he told me to paint Boba Fett and he was already working on some oil painting... w
